Terms of Service

Important — Financial Compliance TamarindPay is a tool to assist with your business administration. It does not constitute accounting, tax, or legal advice. You remain solely responsible for the accuracy of your invoices, VAT calculations, and compliance with all applicable Bahamian tax laws including the Value Added Tax Act 2014.

You retain full ownership of all data you enter into TamarindPay, including client information, invoice content, and financial records.

By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to store and process your clients' personal information in accordance with the Bahamas Data Protection Act 2003.

We aim to maintain 99% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Service may experience occasional maintenance windows.

We will provide reasonable notice of planned maintenance where possible.

Data Backup While we take reasonable precautions to protect your data, you are encouraged to periodically export your invoices and client data as a backup. We cannot guarantee recovery of data in the event of a catastrophic hosting failure.

8. Intellectual Property

TamarindPay, its logo, interface design, and underlying code are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without express written permission.

Your business name, logo, and invoice content remain your intellectual property.

12. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of The Commonwealth of The Bahamas. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of The Bahamas.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
